An extensive renovation and re-branding of the original building completed as Herons Flight in 2006, plume restaurant brings  a touch of elegance to the matakana countryside. The addition of hardwood pergolas defines the entrance and provides all weather exterior dining, inside, the entry and bar were remodeled with the addition of the cellar door and curved cedar suspended ceiling. Behind the scenes the kitchen was extended and a new administration and amenities area added.
