HAUTURU, Omaha

This bespoke residential home in Omaha is a contemporary coastal architectural build designed to capture panoramic views across Omaha Beach and out to Hauturu, Little Barrier Island. Built by Brackenridge Builders, the home is positioned to maximise its elevated outlook while supporting spacious, open plan living.

Working alongside Leuschke Group Architects, the design brings together concrete, steel, cedar and glass to create a strong, refined material palette suited to the coastal environment. Split across multiple levels, the layout allows for expansive living areas that connect easily to the outdoors while maintaining a sense of scale and separation throughout the home.

The build required careful coordination across structure and detailing to achieve both durability and a high level of finish. The result reflects a well-executed collaboration, supported by a long-standing relationship between the client and the Brackenridge Builders team.
