Point Wells

Contemporary waterfront architectural home

Residential build

Awards
National Finalist – Master Builders house of the year competition, $2 million plus category

Positioned on the waterfront in Point Wells, this residential home is a contemporary architectural build defined by strength, depth and material detail. Built by Brackenridge Builders, the design uses solid masonry construction to create substantial walls and deep window reveals, giving the home a strong and grounded presence.

Working alongside Condon Scott Architects, the build incorporates a distinctive palette including purpleheart hardwood structural elements and clear sealed steel trowel finished plaster. Internally, honed blockwork walls and Tasmanian oak ceilings introduce warmth and contrast against the more robust exterior materials, creating a balanced and cohesive interior environment.

The complexity of the build required a high level of precision and craftsmanship, particularly in executing the thick masonry walls and detailed material transitions. The result is a carefully resolved home that reflects both durability and refined construction.

This project highlights Brackenridge Builders’ experience delivering high-end residential homes in Point Wells and across the wider coastal region.

“We are absolutely certain we made the right choice in choosing the Brackenridge team and the follow up has been exceptional when or if we have any concerns, long after the builders left the site and all the accounts were paid.” - Hamish and Robyn Alexander
